The Goal is to create a Jump'n'Run with learning content for kids (age 6 -11). The scope for the game is having fun playing it and learning about dinosaurs species.
For creating the project and bring it to life, I will use the Unity Engine to run the game, After Effects for the animations, Figma Jam for organization and structure and other ux methods (for example a paper prototype). It should be playable on a smartphone and tablet size device.

How could be build one Level and how could be the interactions in the game I ask myself, so I created a paper prototype to vision my imagination. With the paper prototype I can see how the tap interaction is working and played around with item ideas and separate the paper into jumping sections.
I know I would make a Jump'n'Run game and as I prepare the paper prototype and searching paper for it, I found old kids present paper with dinos on it. I thought this little dino could be my perfect Jump'n'Run character!
DINO LIFE
On the right side there is the level overview. The player can see his progress. The stars indicates how good the player finish the level. If he finish the level in a specific time and find all eggs, the player get three stars. Each level contains one dinosaur specie and after completing the level the player can learn more about the specie. The player can visit the dinosaur in their environment with different interactive stations.
Animation are made in After Effects with the Duik Bassel plugin.
